I recently started playing with long exposure on my Nikon D90. Been having a lot of fun with it, so naturally when I saw the works of LICHTFAKTOR I was very interested.
The members of LICHTFAKTOR use light to give expression to their creativity. They take advantage of a variety of light sources to produce photos and videos in cities by night.
How do they do it? They use tripods and set their exposures to 10-30 secs and set their ISO to about 100. They use flashlights, biking-lights and flashing LED lights, they all work with batteries, so that they are mobile, they also use fireworks & torches.
Check them out, they hav turned their abosession with long exposures and playing with light a full time gig, scoring top commercial image accounts.
